
Welcome to the Tenkai dojo.
- Students train Kobudō which means Old Martial Traditions, including Taijutsu, Koppojutsu, Koshijutsu, Jujutsu, and Ninjutsu traditions. Ninjutsu, is a traditional Japanese Martial art that ninjas trained with a long history and extensive range of techniques.
- Students are initially introduced to fundamental skills including postures, blocks and strikes and evasions.
- Students progress through a levels system increasing their repertoire of strikes and learning breakfalls, throws, grappling, restraining and pressure points.
- The teacher for these classes is Myles who has graded successfully 5th Dan Shisenkan Kobudō.
- No experience required for all classes.

| Age Group | Class name | Description |

| 9–14 years | Introductory Martial Arts | This class incorporates acrobatics skills (cartwheels), parkour skills (shoulder rolls, vaults), martial arts skills (eg blocks, evasions) and other coordination/strength challenges utilising the gymnastics equipment. No gradings are done in this class. |
| 11+ years | Junior Kobudo | This class incorporates similar activities as the Introductory Ninpo class but focuses more on the martial arts skills in particular taijutsu (unarmed fighting skills). Students train and are graded once at a proficient level. |
| 16+ years (adults & youth) | Senior Kobudo | Students in the Senior class train unarmed techniques as well as weapons. Weapons training is also included with Bojutsu, Kenjutsu, Naginata-jutsu, and Sojutsu as the core, and other special weapons such as Shuriken and hidden weapons.
